12c Release 2 (12.2) for Apple Mac OS X (Intel)
10.2.0.4 Database (Single Instance) Release for Apple MAC OS X on Intel x86-64 is now available for download on OTN. The physical media is to be dropped off to M&D next week. This is a 64-bit release and provides a 32-bit client bundle as well for 32-bit customer applications. Mike, That's the Oracle Client software that the article discusses. While the Oracle client is large, it doesn't let you have the database natively on the Mac OS. For a moment, I'd hope it was something I missed. I've asked a lot of people at Oracle to consider releasing at least Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (XE). How to install Oracle Instant Client Version 12.1.0.2 (64-bit) on a Mac (OS X 10.11.5) I have downloaded version 12.1.0.2 (64-bit) version and unzipped the file. I now have the following files under /downloads/instantclient. Download the latest version of Oracle 10g for Mac - Database solution for Mac OS X Server.
